What are the fees that I need to pay after a year?
The annual renewal fee for KATSANA Track is RM249. While the annual renewal fee for KATSANA TrackPro is RM299. Renewal fees are paid on an annual basis for the following subsequent years. This renewal fee covers SIM card 1-year activation, 1-year service access to the KATSANA app, and trip data storage. Price shown excludes 6% GST.
Can I make my payment by cash at the HQ?
No. Payment can only be made through the link on this webpage. If you are unsure on how to complete the payment online, you may pay at the HQ on the day of installation by bringing along your card.
My hardware is not working. How do I claim my warranty from KATSANA?
Our hardware rarely malfunctions. However, if there is indeed an issue with the tracking hardware, you can come over to KATSANA HQ for a one-to-one replacement. If you are not able to come to our HQ, we will be able to ship a replacement device or the same refurbished device.
What should you do if the device malfunctions after the warranty period? Do I need to purchase a new package?
You can purchase the new hardware at a discounted rate. The rate will be disclosed upon inquiry.
I’m based outside of Klang Valley. Can I carry out the installation on my personal capacity?
Yes, you can. We will ship the hardware and guidebook to your address. You can then bring both the device and vehicle to the workshop of your preference. Note: Please ensure that the installations are carried out by workshops you trust.
Does KATSANA offer assistance in recovering stolen vehicles?
No. KATSANA does not offer any direct assistance in cases of emergency. However, do note that the app is equipped with features that ease the process of recovery.
My car has been stolen, what should I do?
If you are sure your car is stolen:
- File a police report at the nearby police station immediately.
- Use the [SHARING] function in the KATSANA app to directly share Live location directly to the mobile phones of Police officials.
- Do not attempt to pursue your vehicles alone.
